thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

More Thoughts on Uncle John and New Orleans

I am sure that Uncle John is safe, just working like crazy right now in New Orleans. Here's another great thing that he did. He came to visit us, he must have been about 16 or 17 and he fixed our door bell. I don't ever remember the door bell working he came, he saw, he fixed it. I was pretty little. I remember being impressed that he took care of it. Of course he seemed very grown up to me. Afterall, he was visiting without Grandma and Grandpa AND he fixed the door bell. Now that the clean up is strarting, that's when I worry. Mom says that John says it isn't the snakes and the alligators, it is the fire ants. I suppose they find higher ground just as well as anything. I hope that Lisa and Patrick are okay too. I understand that they are in Pensacola, it seems that they got hit pretty hard there too. I am not familiar with where John lives in New Orleans, Uncle Joe says that John's house is actually 2 feet above sea level, a high point in New Orleans. My first prayer is for physical safety, my second prayer is for a home for them to return to.
