I was hoping for a thunderstorm

I was hoping for a thunderstorm, but it didn't happen. I am afraid that some folks in our state got more than they bargained for. My brother told me that a person in Milwaukee found a cancelled check in her yard with a Madison address. It looks as though Stoughton got hit hard by a tornado. I'm glad that didn't happen here. Tornados are about the scariest thing to me. When I was young, about third grade, maybe first grade we had a terrible tornado that came during the middle of the school day, some kids had gone home for lunch, the rest of us were in the basement. So, it was that experience that really soured me on the whole tornado phenomenon. I hated not being at home with my Mom during that time.
