thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

Abandonned Blog

So I haven't abandonned my blog. It just looks like it. It's been a busy month. I've been to Door County, Disney World, playing with my band across the water, across the land. I've seen every blue-eyed floozie on the way. Here's a few things that I have learned or observed in the last month.
  • The more I think that I know, the dumber I get
  • "Stitch" is an alien
  • My time on Earth is short and precious
  • It was about this time last year that The Dots first came to be... how cool it that?
  • I am still not quite sure what I want to be when I grow up and I better get with the program, on account of I will be 35 in about a month
  • I hope that I don't bail on my blog anymore

I hope you don't bail on your blog, too. I enjoy catching up with you via the blog, even though I live just 2 doors away!

I was thinking about the Dots the other day, too. Thinking how fortunate you are that you went from "Ann and Rhonda are working on some songs" to a gigging 3-piece band called "The Dots" in under a year. That's awesome! It took my band a lot longer than that to go from "Paul and Chris are working on some songs" to a gigging band called "Noise Pollution"...I think it took us 18 months from first songs picked to first gig. And there were a handful of different drummers and bassists mixed in during that 18 months too.

I was also thinking about how life is precious and short, seeing how I turn 35 a full 38 days earlier than you do!

    Happy Turkey Day!
