The Band
So I've been away... I've been working on the band website and of course, my day job. But it's paying off. The Dots played their firs
t show as the Bettys. The Bettys are our alter-ego. Our country side... we learned about 30 or so songs in just a few weeks. It was a lot of fun, and I think I can pull off the country look okay. Well, it wasn't even really officially country, but it wasn't rock, but it wasn't rock-a-billy... more like kind of a punky country. We did a lot of traditional stuff... some contemporary stuff.
We played as the Dots on Friday... the Bettys on Saturday... and the Dots again in a few weeks. The big thing is that it is a lot of fun to do something and have other people dance around and sing. I dig that.

OWWWWW! Rock n Roll! Good to see/read that things went well over the weekend for The Dots and The Bettys. Sorry I was unable to attend either show, but I'm hopeful for the Dots on 10/20/07.
