Bleeding and Crying Blue for Chris Pronger

Well Friends, there was no reason to think that my beloved Blues wouldn't fall prey to the wacky new NHL. I knew there was a reason that I couldn't sleep this morning. Then I learned at about 4:30 or 5:00 on the earliest of SportsCenters that the Blues had indeed traded Chris Pronger to the Edmonton Oilers. How can I recover? I am sure that Al MacInnis won't be back... then Demitra to the Kings, now Pronger is gone. Will my faith and loyalty wane? I answer a most assured no at this time, however, I may find it hard to be loyal to the team down the road. It's a bit disheartening. I think I am grieving, you know, in denial. I'll miss Pronger... who can fill those tall, tall skates? Certainly other teams have suffered as much if not more... but those are other peoples' teams... not my St. Louis Blues. I am anxiously reluctant about the coming season, now this. Stay posted.
