thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

Who is the turkey?

While driving to my doctor appointment, I happened across not one, but two turkeys. I knew that it would only be a few hours before I began basting my own bird. These turkeys happened to have the good fortune to be born in the wild, while mine was born in captivity. Certainly, those gobblers will meet their make in due time, as we all will, however it made me wince just a bit.

At any rate, it was decided that I must have a bacterial type of scene happening, so now I have two different types of medication. Great. I love it.

I was also going to make a ham, but I think that might be a bit much, considering we already have a big chicken worth of turkey. We have two pies and a salad to make in the morning, and don't forget the bacon for the salad.

We'll spend the afternoon with G Millie and Rosie and then head to Mom and Fred's for pie.

So what am I thankful for? No doubt about it, my friend. I am thankful for you. I am thankful that I have wonderful friends and family and friends who are like family and family who are like friends.

Let the holiday bring you together with those you love and let your travels be safe, my friend.
