Yes, we have no blogs

To my blog-loving public, I must apologize. My blog is not as creative and amusing as I would like it to be, today in particular. I just don't "feel" it. I should tell you that yesterday Dan and I had a pizza party with our nieces and nephews as well as my brother and sister-in-law... always fun... it really gets me when the kids want us to stay longer or stay over or come to our house and the answer has to be "no." I don't like that. But I am so amazed at how big they are! Today, we learned that Dan's parents returned safely from their trip to Russia... very good news. My immediate family are all attending the wedding of a cousin in St. Louis. It hurts me to think that they are all there celebrating and here we are, plus it is raining. So, this is a sad blog, not a particularly happy one. This too shall pass. Happy blogs will return.
