thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

Olympics controversies... what's up with that?

What in the Wide World of Sports is going on at the Olympics? Especially what's going on with the judges in gymnastics? I have yet to see it all unfold on television, but I read a little bit about it on the web. Seems to me like a culmination of what the crowd and perhaps NBC's announcing team as a string of questionable decisions. I will be interested to see what goes on... hopefully NBC will allow the cascade of boos and catcalls to air unedited. Has there always been controversy in the Olympics? I have only been able to really understand since the Calgary games in 1988, but I don't remember anything like what's happening here. Nothing like the last winter games as far as the figure skating debacle with the judges. Too much... it detracts from the efforts and accomplishments of the athletes.
