Art

I am trying to set my inner artist free. I haven't done anything with a paint brush in years. More than half my life time... well maybe not that long. I will just say that my mind is thinking in ways that it hasn't for many years.

When I was in high school, I dropped band so I could take art. I wanted to go to art school when I was 16. We see where that went. Painting would likely have been the thing I went into. I must admit that I was tempted to buy a canvas or two tonight alas, my medium is not canvas tonight, but that is another story.

I think it will be good for me. This is something I should have been doing for a long time... that and playing more guitar. I was talking with a friend and we both lamented that we haven't found ways to use our creativity. Certainly my normal daily life enables me to be creative, yet rarely do I get to make something with my own hands. Tonight, that all changes.
