I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

Getting ready for the Blizzard
I know that the blizzard is coming... it doesn't have to do with Wisconsin snow either. It has to do with the amount of stuff coming down in a few weeks. That's cool though. Sometimes that's what I thrive on. In the mean time, I have a lot to look forward to. A trip with my friends, a trip to Disney World, the Dots are rockin' out, Thanksgiving... the holidays. Life is pretty good.
Usually by now in Wisconsin it isn't rare that we've had some snow. Not snow that sticks, but big wet flakes that melt right away. The weather has been great and makes a big difference in people's attitudes and how we feel. Heck, even the cat is in a better mood because the windows are open... It's nice. Hard to believe that the better part of October is over.
So I've been away... I've been working on the band website and of course, my day job. But it's paying off. The Dots played their first show as the Bettys. The Bettys are our alter-ego. Our country side... we learned about 30 or so songs in just a few weeks. It was a lot of fun, and I think I can pull off the country look okay. Well, it wasn't even really officially country, but it wasn't rock, but it wasn't rock-a-billy... more like kind of a punky country. We did a lot of traditional stuff... some contemporary stuff.
We played as the Dots on Friday... the Bettys on Saturday... and the Dots again in a few weeks. The big thing is that it is a lot of fun to do something and have other people dance around and sing. I dig that.
