I Smell Like Mesquite

I smell like mesquite on account of we grilled out tonight. We didn't use the mequite chips tonight. We used them on Sunday night when we made baby back ribs on the grill. Tonight, we made sausage on the grill. It was sausage made by the good folks of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church of New Melle, Missouri. Good stuff! Even better with fresh sweet corn.

I have a lot to look forward to this weekend. It will be Dan's birthday and we will celebrate a birthday for a two-year old. So you know that it means CAKE! YES BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Now I'll head downstairs to play a little rock and roll and get ready for something that I've wanted for a long time. Rock and roll band... YES.
