Don't Talk to Me About Anything Serious
Yes, please don't. I am so done with being serious. I don't want to hear, deal with, talk about, mention, think about or care about anything serious for a while. Let the cat flop around and give me chin kisses in the morning. Let me wear a t-shirt from 1987. Let me tell you about how eating sauerkraut and drinking beer leaves an aftertaste. Let me tell you how cool it is to have a band called The Dots. Let me talk about our Sea Monkeys. Let me tell you about how cool it is to have friends that you have just met and friends that have known you since you were either really young or really stupid or really young and stupid. It's summer, let's rock.

Seriously, we need to spend more time goofing off! You are right on! Summer's here, the time is right, for dancing in the streets! Wait, Where have I heard that before?
And as far as THE DOTS goes...you guys are gonna be rockin before you know it. Just gotta hammer out that setlist and get it all memorized, then you're ready to hit the stages!

I agree with Paul. It's summer, save the serious junk for when it's cold and gloomy. In our house we go so far as to ban certain movies and TV that may be depressing. A little extreme I know but hey it's nice to know on the agenda is Happy Feet. Also it means for me I have something to talk about at snack time w/my Preschoolers. :) I am excited for your band as well and love the name!
