The Light at the End of the Tunnel is Not a Train
Let's say that the past 30 days or whatever have been a blur. Maybe it has been longer, maybe it hasn't been. Whatever. I will say this, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it isn't a train. At least I don't think that it is. It might be, but I don't think so.
We have the Indy 500 this weekend. We'll meet up with two of my cousins on Saturday morning and spend the day catching up, eating bratwurst and having a few cold ones. I really look forward to it, yes I like the race, but mostly I like hanging out with my relatives. I wish that everyone could go, but hey that's what Irish Fest is for, right?
I am looking forward to summer, to grow a bit. But also to slow down a lot. I have not spent the time with the people that mean the most to me. Friends, family, my priorities have got to get back in line. They will, starting Wednesday night.
