thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

It's Hard to Beat...

...Having a 5 year old telling you that you are her best friend. Especially when you only see said 5 year old maybe two times a year. It's hard to beat having a 5 year old telling you that you shouldn't leave because you need to play more hide-and-seek. It is hard to beat having a 5 year old asking you if it is time to play again.

It's amazing how a child can touch your life, but it is more amazing to know that you can touch a child's life in just moments. It's moments that matter. Today is one of those days that I truly feel the blessings that God has given me. Sometimes I wonder what I have ever done to deserve what I have. I have tremendous relationships. It is the people that I love. It is people that I value. It is the relationships that I have that make me feel so fortunate. Relationships are what we make them together.

For that I say, "thank you, my friend."
