Back to Work

I went back to work today. I was glad to have the time off and now glad to get back to work. Sounds goofy, huh? Well, I guess that it just means that my vacation worked.

I am much more relaxed.

I was able to spend time doing things that I had to do and things that I wanted to do. Cleaning? Got it. Packing? You bet. Family? Definitely. Minneapolis? Certainly.

Let me tell you about cleaning and packing. It was a long time coming. In anticipation of moving, I am doing so. We'll be so organized that people will be begging to help us move. Well, maybe not begging, but not kicking and screaming either.

Family? Way important. I wish I could spend every Monday and Wednesday doing what I did, spending time with family doing the every day things like shopping, lunch, ice skating lessons, picking them up from school and ballet.

Minneapolis? Very necessary. Time with friends is one of my remedies for the sameness and tumultuousness of my life. Always makes me a bit more grounded and helps me to remember who I am.
