thank you my friend

I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

I am Cold and it is Only November

I think that pretty much says it all. I am cold and it is only November. Right now, Betty and I are on the couch. She is sleeping (she is a cat, so she sleeps) and I have Monday Night Football on. Hard to believe that it is scoreless this late in the second quarter. The field at Pittsburgh looks weird, there's nearly no yard markers.

Here's something I never thought that I would try, I am on Day 2 of a "detoxification" process. If you've seen any tv infomercials lately, or if you've been to a GNC, you know what I am talking about. A cleaning. I'll leave it at that.

I had a pretty good day today. This begins the first week in about three weeks that I will have a full 5 day work week, altough I have spent other time doing work. While Christmas is just around the corner, there is a lot that needs to happen between now and then.

Thanksgiving

Well, we had our second Thanksgiving at our house. We had 20 relatives here for the day. It was a lot of fun. Next year maybe more than 20? All you family members outside of the state of Wisconsin... put on your calendar for next year. I don't care if we have to put up a tent outside... get here.

Then we had a rock show last night. It was fun despite the fact that I almost totally blew my cool. We put up some Christmas lights for the first time, and we learned that we need more.

Today we've been lazing around. I slept until 11 this morning, not hard to beleive when you don't get home and settled in again until 3:30am. Ah yes, the life of a rock star.

Perhaps we will see a movie today... who knows... if we don't get it in gear, we will be watching football all day, nothing wrong with that, but it is too nice for the end of November to not take advantage of it!

Abandonned Blog

So I haven't abandonned my blog. It just looks like it. It's been a busy month. I've been to Door County, Disney World, playing with my band across the water, across the land. I've seen every blue-eyed floozie on the way. Here's a few things that I have learned or observed in the last month.
  • The more I think that I know, the dumber I get
  • "Stitch" is an alien
  • My time on Earth is short and precious
  • It was about this time last year that The Dots first came to be... how cool it that?
  • I am still not quite sure what I want to be when I grow up and I better get with the program, on account of I will be 35 in about a month
  • I hope that I don't bail on my blog anymore
