A SAWZ ALL SAWZ ALL!

We were blessed with our own SAWZ ALL today. That meant that we cut down 5 unsightly trees in our yard. I know an odd thing to do on Earth Day. Let me tell you though, these trees are not in good shape... well at least three of them were not. I guess it was really six trees. Well, 50% of the trees that we chopped down on Earth Day were not in good shape. The other 50% were just in stupid places.

Who Likes to go Furniture Shopping?

It's too bad that going furniture shopping isn't like going to a baseball game. You know, you have a little something to eat and relax first... then you go into the store and kind of broswe leisurely.

Well, where we went isn't the kind of place that you can do that. It's crazy busy! Packed with people... and everyone knows that it is crazy busy. Like it's as big a small mall. I will say this too... people at this particular store in this particular suburb of the third largest city in America have little regard for others. It's amazing, I can drive 60 miles in one direction and have a great experience or 60 miles in another and be surrounded by people who are not cool.

And plus, we were almost killed by a semi yesterday. The dude was changing lanes and getting ready to make a Scion sandwich with a VW bug as the top slice. It was a very James Bond kind of moment. Dan had to shoot the tube as it were.

30 Days or So

You may ask yourself, "what could be commanding so much of Ann's time that she hasn't posted in almost 30 days?" Well, I wasn't going to tell anyone about this, but here it is... getting a spoon on my nose.

Actually, I mastered this trick quite some years ago. Right about when I learned the "nose grease in your beer kills off the foam" trick. That and the "singing wine glass" trick. Funny how these all go together, huh?

It's been an interesting month without doing a little blogging. In someways, it released me. I have to say as stupid as it sounds, that blogging had become a bit of a burden. Now I think I may have a deeper appreciation for it. It helps me to clear my head.

All in all, things are going well. I do feel a bit discombobulated though... nothing new for me. It's been awhile since I have felt settled. I'm not sure that I every really have. Just when I feel that way, I let something make me wobble like a Weeble.
