I am pretty sure that I will be the only person interested in what I have to say... I guess I am truly jealous of anyone that has their 15 minutes of fame (read: reality television shows), but I cannot be edited by big corporations to fit their story lines. I would say or sell their products, but maybe I can get a sponsor.

What Do You See in This Picture?
Well, here's what I see. Yes, it is the Chicago Skyway. What I see is the road that gets me to a place that is very special to me. To get there, I travel through skyscrapers, industry, waving cornfields, hilly country and over a river, past an airport, past a Holiday Inn, past a White Castle, past a bowling alley, past an abandoned car dealership, past a sprawling yet shrinking manufacturing plant, down a winding and hilly road, past an old farm and windmill, down the hollow and up again, stop, turn left, stop, turn left again and park on the lawn. Walk into the kitchen with a neverending supply of coffee, Coca-Cola, sloppy joe, chop suey and love. Smell of cigarettes and hot humid south summer time. Arrive at 1:00am and you are sure to be greeted by two cats, two dogs and two Grandparents. How was your drive? Any construction? Any accidents? Lots of trucks? Any weather? Are you hungry? What can I get you? Must be tired, better go to bed. Aw sweetie, I'm so glad your here. Now, Joanie and the kids will be over on Sunday. What are you looking for? There's cookies in the jar. No, you have milk first, then you can have Coke. Let's sit in the other room. I like this movie, it's got Katherine Hepburn in it. I like Katherine Hepburn. You need to go to bed, sweetie, you're tired. Good night, love you. See you in the morning.

I loved visiting my Grandparents. I think I sleep the best sleep when I am with them.
